This vibrant duo just keep getting bigger and bigger rocketing their way towards stardom as the streams just keep rolling in.
Mint Field are an exciting and atmospheric rock duo (ex-trio) from Tijuana in Mexico. After releasing ‘Primeras Salidas’ in 2015, success has just seemed to follow them with ease with their most streamed song ‘Ciudad Satelite’ now reaching over 100000 plays on spotify.
They are an independent band with a lot of drive and passion and this is something that really breaks through in their music, with an often very strong but echoey feel to the vocals and the flawless ability to be able to grasp your attention with a big build up after long instrumental beginnings.
Mint Field really made it into the big music scene when they were invited to play at Coachella last year doing the ‘Jam in the Van’, with an excellent live performance. When asked about this, they told Billboard Magazine that “It’s a big step. We never expected a moment like this to happen so quickly. It was a surprise to all of us and to our family that has supported us back home. But we are thrilled because we are representing just a small part of all the talent that comes from Mexico.”
The Band has recently released that they are doing a tour of Mexico this June and are asking for recommendations for any venues that people may think would suit them. So if you know any, give them a shout! They are an absolutely amazing duo and a band i would thoroughly suggest listening to for everyone.
